Important notes:

• If you are running Windows Vista you will lose your ICC/ICM profile information during log off and if UAC (User Account Control) is activated and during a number of other Vista function due to the "Vista Gamma Table" bug [Not addressed in SP2]. http://neosmart.net/blog/2007/windows-vistas-gamma-table-bug/
• If you have more than one calibrating program on your computer, make sure that only one is running at a time or else there could be conflicts.
• Only use test prints made on true photographic paper from a commercial photo lab for monitor calibration. It is foolish to spend time calibrating you monitor when it is your printer that needs the adjustment. More often it is the printer that needs to be calibrated not the monitor. Do not trust the prints that you make yourself on your own printer. Each brand of printer will give different color results. So will different brands of printing paper in the same printer.

I trust you are aware of how to export a registry key using regedit.exe. Well, that's all you really need to know how to do.

Find the following registry key using regedit:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles

Export it and save it to a removable drive or device and simply double click it to restore your account settings, isn't that too simple?

Well, there is something else...you will have to enter the passwords for each account manually...I know, I know, it did sound too good to be true, however, I rather enter a few passwords than have to re-create all the accounts one by one!

SyncToy 2.1

SyncToy 2.1 is a free application that synchronizes files and folders between locations. Typical uses include sharing files, such as photos, with other computers and creating backup copies of files and folders.

There are files from all kinds of sources that we want to store and manage. Files are created by our digital cameras, e-mail, cell phones, portable media players, camcorders, PDAs, and laptops. Increasingly, computer users are using different folders, drives, and even different computers (such as a laptop and a desktop) to store, manage, retrieve and view files. Yet managing hundreds or thousands of files is still largely a manual operation. In some cases it is necessary to regularly get copies of files from another location to add to primary location; in other cases there is a need to keep two storage locations exactly in sync. Some users manage files manually, dragging and dropping from one place to another and keeping track of whether the locations are synchronized in their heads. Other users may use two or more applications to provide this functionality.

Now there is an easier way. In my opinion it's about time our government did what they should have done when this all started, shutdown BP, fine them, sue them, hang them and take action to clean up and correct this issue themselves! Why would you trust the people that caused the mess to get us out of it? That's kind of like asking a demolition man to construct your home... On the other hand I imagine our Navy and Military are far more resourceful and would do better for us taking care of this issue rather than a greedy corporation that has only their own financial interest in mind.

Well, in all consideration, if you've been following the matches you'll most likely agree, everything else can wait till next month, this is the only thing that matters for now! And with Italy (the defending champs) out of the games and competitors like Ghana, Korea, Slovakia and Japan going through it really entices us to wonder if we can make it, how much longer can USA hold on? I doubt they will make it much further yet, what a remarkable surprise so far.
